Deposit into Tenebrae
Outcome
Public assets leave the user’s public wallet and enter Tenebrae Protocol private settlement (Deposit into Tenebrae). This is not a deposit into a custodial Tenebrae wallet. The deposit amount is public on-chain.
User / client flow
- Connect wallet in Tenebrae client (or calling app).
- Select asset + amount.
- Client evaluates identity-hub readiness, proves, and submits via Gateway contract.
- Private balance appears once indexer and wallet-receipt sync catches up (may lag on testnet).
Integrator notes
- Prefer wallet batch when the chain + wallet support it; Tempo BYOW is often sequential today (settlement hub).
- Identity hub prepends are readiness-driven at submit.

Partner framing
Say “funds Tenebrae Protocol private settlement” — never “deposits into the gateway” as the product sentence (TERMINOLOGY).
